Whether you’re just starting out or an experienced climber, Redpoint Climbing Centre, Cecil Street provides a spectacular 3D climbing experience featuring lots of different shapes, angles and even stalactites! Said to be the best go kart race track in the Midlands, Birmingham Wheels Park, Saltley boasts state of the art race karts manufactured by world championship winning race constructor BIZ. It also features fully floodlit outdoor circuits with free parking just one mile from the city centre. Suitable for groups, individuals and juniors. If you’re feeling even more adventurous, this challenge takes karting to a whole new level. Creation, one of the biggest climbing centres in the UK, is based in Moseley and has a massive choice of vertical, slabby, or overhanging walls on which to climb. A four hour introduction to climbing course starts at around £49. www.creationwall.co.uk

Unit3sixty Indoor Skatepark, Stourbridge boasts the biggest indoor bowl in the UK featuring the Death Star capsule which allows you to perform a full loop da loop. Birmingham BMX Club, Perry Barr has become one of the best BMX venues in Europe, thanks to funding from Sport England and Birmingham City Council.
